Lovable's coding platform hits $600 million in annual revenue

Co-founder Fabian Hedin said at Amsterdam's HumanX summit that the vibe-coding startup, now used by two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies by its own count, grew from about $500 million in June.

Lovable, whose “vibe coding” platform lets people build software by describing what they want instead of writing code, has crossed $600 million in annualized revenue, co-founder Fabian Hedin said at the HumanX summit in Amsterdam on Thursday. The company said its run rate stood at around $500 million in June, meaning the figure has grown in the months since, though Lovable did not detail the pace of that growth.

Hedin said Lovable has focused on growing its enterprise business, and he claimed two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies are now using the product. He named Microsoft, Nvidia, and Deutsche Telekom among the company’s customers, though he did not detail how those companies use Lovable or how much they pay.

The company also said the apps its users have built together attract nearly a billion views per month. Hedin drew a contrast with tools such as Codex and Claude Code, which generate code for developers to work with directly. “You can use these tools to output code. The difference is that Lovable does not output code. The output is a product, and increasingly so, a business,” he said. He added that Lovable handles hosting, deployment, and scaling for apps built on the platform, and that traffic to those apps is “an order of magnitude more than Lovable itself.”

Rapid fundraising

Lovable has raised more than $700 million across two rounds eight months apart. In December, it raised $300 million from Menlo Ventures and CapitalG at a $6.6 billion valuation. In August, it raised another $400 million from Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund, more than doubling its valuation to $13.3 billion.

The term “vibe coding” has become shorthand for a wave of platforms competing to let non-programmers build software through natural-language prompts. Lovable’s revenue growth and its enterprise adoption claims suggest the category is moving from hobbyist experimentation toward business use, though the company has not disclosed how it defines enterprise usage, broken out the claim by industry or company size, or verified the Fortune 500 figure independently.

What remains unclear is how Lovable’s hosting, deployment, and scaling business, which Hedin described as central to its model, contributes to that $600 million figure versus subscription revenue from individual users. The company has not said when it plans to next update its revenue numbers publicly, and it did not provide a breakdown of revenue by customer segment at the summit.
